Released on July 19, 2011 on the album Angelic (AXA Records), 'Prueba de Amor' is one of Chelion's signature bachatas. The track also served as the official theme for the Dominican film Lotoman 2.0, which helped it travel beyond dance floors alone.

Meaning

The narrator looks for a way to prove the love he carries inside — even calling an angel down from heaven. For him there is no song without her voice: this song is his 'prueba de amor', and she is his inspiration. He begs her not to doubt anymore.

Chelion (José Luis Green), born August 9, 1986 in La Romana, Dominican Republic, is a bachata singer and songwriter. After contest beginnings and time in the group Tainos, he went solo with Angelic. Tracks like 'En Medio de la Noche', 'Atrapados', and 'Dueño Eterno' made his name, including in Europe.
