[Intro]
You know we're not supposed to be doing this, right?
You know we're not supposed to be doing this, right?
No estamos supuesto' a hacer esto
We're not supposed to be doing this
This is a sin
This is a sin
Esto e' un pecado
This is a sin
We're both going to hell
We're both going to hell
Vamos pa'l infierno
We're going to hell
Fuck it
Fuck it
[Coro]
[Chorus]
Quítate la ropa lentamente, hoy quiero amanecer contigo
Take your clothes off slowly, today I want to wake up with you
Hoy quiero amanecer contigo
Today I want to wake up with you
Y cuidado si sospechan los vecinos, mi mujer o tu marido
And careful if the neighbors suspect, my wife or your husband
Mi mujer o tu marido, oh-oh-oh
My wife or your husband, oh-oh-oh
[Verso 1]
[Verse 1]
Tú y yo durmiendo con los enemigos
You and I sleeping with the enemies
Dos seres que jamás hemos querido
Two beings we've never loved
Los dos saciando un bendito capricho
Both of us satisfying a blessed whim
Donde somos masoquistas por volver a nuestros nidos
Where we're masochists for going back to our nests
[Pre-Coro]
[Pre-Chorus]
Desnúdate al paso, mi reina, y solo ámame
Strip as you walk, my queen, and just love me
Que el secreto permanezca en un cuarto de hotel
Let the secret stay in a hotel room
Te aseguro que esos tontos no van a entender
I assure you those fools won't understand
Que, si les somos infieles, es por un gran querer
That if we're unfaithful to them, it's for a great love
Así, con cautela, despacio, solo ámame
Like that, carefully, slowly, just love me
Que si nos coge la noche, yo me inventaré
And if the night catches us, I'll invent
Una excusa bien tramada, ella me lo cree
A well-crafted excuse, she'll believe me
Y tú di otra mentirita al idiota aquel
And you tell another little lie to that idiot
[Coro]
[Chorus]
Ay, quítate la ropa lentamente, hoy quiero amanecer contigo
Ay, take your clothes off slowly, today I want to wake up with you
Hoy quiero amanecer contigo
Today I want to wake up with you
Y cuidado si sospechan los vecinos, mi mujer o tu marido
And careful if the neighbors suspect, my wife or your husband
O tu marido
Or your husband
Que nos perdone nuestro divino Señor si cometemos un delito
May our divine Lord forgive us if we commit a crime
Cometemos un delito
We commit a crime
Pero Adán y Eva pecaron por tentación, tú y yo no somos distintos
But Adam and Eve sinned by temptation, you and I are no different
[Interludio]
[Interlude]
Qué traviesos somos
How naughty we are
Y qué bien se siente
And how good it feels
I'm a bad boy
I'm a bad boy
We've been crowned, K.O.B
We've been crowned, K.O.B

Hello, baby
Hello, baby
Baby, where you at? It's like 8:30 in the morning
Baby, where you at? It's like 8:30 in the morning
I know, I know, es que estoy atrapada en tráfico
I know, I know, it's just that I'm stuck in traffic
Estoy ahí en un par de horas, ¿okay?, bye
I'll be there in a couple of hours, okay?, bye
Okay, mi amor, cuídate
Okay, my love, take care
[Outro]
[Outro]
Lower your voice, don't make noise
Lower your voice, don't make noise
Keep it on the low
Keep it on the low
How can something feel so good knowing that it's wrong?
How can something feel so good knowing that it's wrong?
Keep on the low (so nasty)
Keep on the low (so nasty)
How can something feel so good knowing that it's wrong?
How can something feel so good knowing that it's wrong?
Keep it on the low
Keep it on the low
How can something feel so good knowing that it's wrong?
How can something feel so good knowing that it's wrong?
The kid Romeo could keep a secret
The kid Romeo could keep a secret
Keep it on the low (don't say nothin)
Keep it on the low (don't say nothin)
Knowin that it's wrong (it's just between us)
Knowin that it's wrong (it's just between us)

🌍 Culture & Context
Context
Lead single from the live album K.O.B. Live, released July 3, 2006 (Premium Latin Music). The track peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks. A remix featuring Frankie J also exists. K.O.B. stands for 'Kings of Bachata' — the nickname Aventura claimed for themselves.
Meaning
Two lovers married to other people meet in secret: hotel rooms, invented excuses, neighbors to watch. They know it's a sin, compare their fault to Adam and Eve's, and justify cheating with a 'great love'. The 'keep it on the low' refrain and the morning voicemail (fake traffic) ground the everyday lie.
Artist
Aventura, nicknamed 'The Kings of Bachata', is a group formed in 1994 in The Bronx, New York, by Romeo Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos, and Max 'Mikie' Santos. They revolutionized bachata by fusing it with R&B and hip-hop; K.O.B. Live (2006) confirmed their status as Latin stars.
